A recent illuminated sign letter project involved the manufacture and installation of 23 900mm high illuminated characters.
As a full service manufacturing company we were able to design, fabricate and install the entire project.

About this particular illuminated sign letter project
The client needed a landmark sign system that would put their building on the map. Located close to a major motorway system the requirement was for affordable illuminated sign letters mounted to the roof of the building.

The letters installed for this project have anti vandal polycarbonate faces and aluminium coil edges. Formed with sophisticated software and precision metalworking tools the illuminated sign letters shown were manufactured from raw components in our workshops. The aluminium coil system we used for these illuminated sign letters is not available anywhere else in the UK.
Each illuminated sign letter is fitted with White LED modules from our own range of products. Crucially the LED's used are totally waterproof- not splash proof or moisture resistant but 100% waterproof. We believe this is an exclusive LED product currently unavailable anywhere else in the sign industry.
Fabricated steel support structures.
These illuminated sign letters had to be mounted on a flat roof. Putting mechanical fixings through the roof skin is never a good idea so to support each illuminated sign letter a welded steel frame was manufactured, again using our extensive workshop capabilities.
Designed to BS wind loading standards each frame was designed to be sectional- allowing us to move the frames onto the roof via the internal stairway of the building.
This rear view shows the illuminated sign letters in final position. To give you an idea of the scale of the installation the word "SPECIALISTS" shown here in reverse is over 10m long. You can clearly see the steel frameworks which were made in our own workshops.
From the pavement the finished illuminated letter install looks impressive. Each one of these illuminated sign letters is 900mm high.
