3D point of sale lettering is affordable.
Other POS projects can be manufactured using use of PVC materials
which can keep costs lower and deliver a
more
affordable product.
Traditionally this type of lettering has been made from acrylic. Whilst acrylic gives a good result it is more expensive that PVC- a key factor in point of sale projects.
Acrylic is also more fragile than PVC. One of the benefits of acrylic is it's ability to transmit light- in the case study highlighted below you will read how we can incorporate acrylic into our 3D point of sale lettering giving you the buyer the best of both worlds.

Recently we were commissioned to manufacture over 400 of these 3D
point of sale
letters for a pan European promotion.
The word "Vive" was required in Yellow and White. Measuring between 5- 600mm high and 170mm "thick" each set of lettering needed to be robust enough to free stand, safe enough for use within a public space and most importantly come in at an affordable price.
A set of prototype letters were made in White PVC. Once approved by the client full production for a total of 464 letters began.
Illuminated point of sale lettering
Part of the specification was that the first letter of the word Vive
be illuminated. To
achieve this the back and sides of each letter was made from Yellow PVC.
On the inside of each V White LED's were fitted with a thin 12v power supply included. The front faces were made from Yellow acrylic which were bonded onto the PVC section of each letter.
Once complete each set of 3d point of sale letters was packed inside specially designed shipping crates which were made by us to ensure that every letter arrived in store in first class condition.

This type of 3d point of sale is manufactured like an acrylic built
up letter product;
two face letters are bonded to a side wall/ return.
We need to be clear that these 3d point of sale letters are not made from a solid piece of material; you will see a joint between component parts.
Why did we develop this type of 3d point of sale lettering?
This range of 3d point of sale lettering was developed as an alternative to traditional polystyrene point of sale products.
Unlike polystyrene lettering our 3d point of sale letters do not have to be painted or other wise finished; they are manufactured from coloured PVC sheet. Polystyrene letters are very, very easy to chip or break; our 3d point of sale lettering is much more robust.
